What is HEXILAK ULTRA?
Introduction:

Hexilak Ultra gel is an advanced scar formula. It has a silicone-based formula with CCP complex containing ceramide and peptides that flattens, lightens and softens scars. It also contains Vitamin C which has cutaneous benefits in photo-protection and lightening hyper-pigmentation. It works on elevated scars caused by a variety of incidences. These may include scars resulting from surgeries, burns, cuts, scratches, insect bites, etc. These scars may become large, thick, dry, elevated and can be dark or red in appearance. It may also be itchy or even painful. Hexilak Ultra gel is suitable for any type of elevated scars on both face and body. A scar is usually red or dark in colour when compared to the normal surrounding skin. Applying regularly can repair, flatten and soften scars over time. It can reduce itchiness and pain.

Hexilak Ultra Advanced Scar Formula is a topical gel used to flatten, lighten, and soften scars resulting from burns, cuts, scratches, surgical procedures, insect bites, etc. It contains silicone gel with CCP technology, ceramides, peptides and provitamin C as active ingredients that help to manage elevated scars. Silicone gel increases skin hydration and thereby facilitates the regulation of fibroblast production and reduction in collagen production, resulting in softer and flatter scars. It allows the skin to “breathe” and reduces the itching and discomfort associated with scars. UTMF ceramide III reinforces the natural lipid barrier in dried and aged skin and improves hydration. Dermaxyl helps fight skin-related damage, stimulates the repair of the cutaneous matrix and reduces the depth and surface area of the scar. Vitamin C helps to lighten hyperpigmentation, along with protecting the skin from photodamages. Always use Hexilak Ultra Advanced Scar Formula exactly as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes, mucous membrane and third degree (severe) burns. Do not apply it on open wounds.

Safety Advice:

Always use Ultra gel as told by your healthcare professional.
Do not use this gel if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Clean the scar area with mild soap and water. Pat dry.
Place one drop of gel at the tip of finger and apply on clean, scar and intact area.
Apply just one drop of Hexilak Ultra gel in the same direction for 1-2minutes.
Allow to dry for 3-4minutes.
Apply  gel twice daily (morning and evening).
Minimum usage duration is 2- 3 months.
Avoid contact with eyes.
